Kitchen Talk: Best Ever Baking Spray (and Giveaway)

Some of us  remember life without baking sprays – you remember – we greased our pans with Crisco, floured them, and then prayed that our cakes wouldn’t stick!   Then came the invention of baking spray and our lives changed forever {well, maybe not monumentally, but life got a little easier anyway}  The only downside to all this is that yucky sticky buildup that gets all over our pans {Ugh – you know what we’re talking about}.  So that’s why we love this Bak-Klene baking spray!  Nothing sticks (even fancy molds), it’s so easy to use, and best of all – no gummy residue on your bakeware – Gotta Love It!  You can find it at Williams Sonoma, and yes it does cost a little more than some of the others ($9.95), but it’s well worth it – especially if you do a lot of baking.

Bak-Klene ZT

Here’s the manufacturer’s info:

The professional choice for creating stick-free baking surfaces, Bak-klene ZT ensures easy release and quick cleanup – and it leaves absolutely no gummy residue. It’s also ideal for use with intricate nonstick pans to ensure that every detail comes out intact.

  • Ideal for savory and sweet baked goods, including cakes, muffins, breads, rolls and cookies.
  • Made from canola, vegetable and mineral oils.
  • Free of flavor, texture and aroma, it leaves no grease-and-flour residue on baked foods.
  • The lecithin-free formula washes off pans easily, leaving no gummy buildup that can harm pans’ performance.
  • Preserves baked goods’ browning rate and crust quality.
  • Reduces breakage of delicate cookies and pastries.
  • Safe for use with metal, ceramic, glass and nonstick bakeware.
  • 14 oz.

***GIVEAWAY***

Okay, here’s the fun part!  Because we love this spray, we want you to be able to try it for yourselves – so TWO of you can win a $15 gift card to Williams  Sonoma to get your own can of Bak-Klene!  {Okay, not quite as big of giveaway as Oprah . . . but it’s our first and who doesn’t love WS?}
