A couple of months ago I was visiting my mom and came across this recipe for Peppermint Eggnog Punch.  My mom used to make it all the time for holiday parties.  I know, you first reaction is, “Eggnog and peppermint ice cream- really?”  But stop and think about it . . . the rich creaminess of eggnog and the fresh taste of peppermint ice cream . . . you’re going to love it!  Perfect for fun family get-togethers!

Peppermint Eggnog Floats

Ingredients:

Eggnog
Sprite or 7up
Peppermint Ice Cream
Whipped Cream
Crushed Peppermints or Candy Canes

Mix equal parts of eggnog and sprite.  Add a scoop {or two} of peppermint ice cream, top with whipped cream and crushed peppermint.

Peppermint Eggnog Punch {Mom’s Holiday Recipe}

2 quarts eggnog
2 quarts 7up
2 quarts peppermint ice cream
2 cups whipped cream

Combine in punch bowl and sprinkle with crushed peppermints.
