Don’t you just love this quote by Abraham Lincoln? We thought it was the perfect sentiment for Mother’s Day {which is right around the corner} so we made you an easy to use gift tag or card so you can add your own message.
FYI: Abraham Lincoln’s mother Nancy Hanks Lincoln died when he was nine years old of “milk sickness”, contracted from drinking the milk of a cow that has eaten poisonous white snake root. His father remarried Sarah Bush Johnston and Abraham called her Mother the rest of his life. To distinguish between his two mothers, he refered to Nancy Hanks as his “Angel Mother”.

When i was young we always had a picnic on mother’s day. Of course mom helped with food, but we loved spending the day in the mountains. I’ve continued the tradition with my kids 🙂
