  5. I’ve tried these before and they’re wonderful! I love using coconut oil on my skin… it’s smoothing and soaks in rather well.

  6. I plan on making this but how long does it keep for?

  7. Beccylou – As long as you keep it in an air-tight container it will last several weeks! You’ll love the smell every time you open the jar!

  8. Thanks!

  9. I would love to use these labels for my kid’s teacher gift but for some reason I can’t download the file. Its sending me to dropbox but it says it can’t establish a connection. Is there any other way to download them?

  10. I would love to print these out for my preschool moms at church. However, your link is disabled and there is a message to contact you. Is there a way you could re-enable the link?? These are perfect for what I am doing. :)Stephanie

  11. Sorry Everyone about the broken link – still trying to correct the problem. If you email me I can send you the pdf files!! – caramelpotatoes@gmail.com

  12. Yeah – I think the links are working!! Any problem you can email! Thanks for following Caramel Potatoes!!

  13. I there a possibility of getting the labels in an editable format? I am a dept head and would love to give this to my team of teachers but would like them to say “the” world instead of “my.”

    Thanks – Mary

  14. Mary – I’ve sent you a pdf with the change made. Thanks to you and your team for all you do. If anybody else needs the change email me.

  15. Love this idea! questions for you: there are different types of coconut oil. I use one for cooking, but know that you can get it for stuff such as skin care. does it matter in this case which one to use?

  16. Amber – No it really doesn’t matter. I use the same one I use for cooking. Thanks!!

  17. Hello, is it possible to send me a copy of the labels you made with the word “the” instead of “my”? I also want to use this idea for a team of volunteers. This is a very cute gift idea!

  18. Whitney – just sent it to your email!

  19. I love the jars pictured here…where did you find them?

  20. Laura – the mason jars are one cup wide-mouth jars – usually at WalMart. Here is the amazon link:

The jars with the latch are from Hobby Lobby.
    Good luck!

  21. Hi, any chance I can get these cute printables in Christmas colors?

  22. Hi, this will be my first time at trying a scrub and I don’t have any lemon oil. Can I use argan oil? Thank you!

  23. Where did you get the small wooden spoon?

  24. Janet – that wooden spoon actually came from Hobby Lobby attached to a glass jar. You can find cute wooden spoons on etsy!

  25. Hi, what size jar does the recipe fill? And is the recipe a single serving or how many jars did one batch fill?

  26. The recipe makes about 2 cups so just adjust according to what size jars you want to use.

  27. I am making this to fill 12 4oz mason jars. Would the above recipe be enough for that? Or do I need more?

  28. The Recipe makes about 2 cups of scrub. 4 oz jars are 1/2 cup so you would need to triple the recipe – good luck~

  29. When I try to print the labels, it prints out in 3 pages. Is this because I’m printing from the Dropbox? Is there a way to get it to print on 1 page?

    Thanks!

  30. Aimee – send you pdf! Merry Christmas-

  31. Hello, what size are the circle labels on top of the jars…2 in? or 2.5 in? I bought 2 in and I fear they may be too small. Also, is there any way you could send me the file that says “the” instead of “my” as well. I am making them for my church workers. Thank you for a great idea!

  32. Jaimee – I printed the labels on cardstock and cut with the Fiskars 2.5 inch punch. I did not purchase labels.

  33. Such a cute idea! I’m making these as holiday gifts to give to a group of PTA volunteers on Friday. Is it possible to get the tags with the word “the” instead of “my” like you’ve done before? Thanks!

  34. Kyra,
Can you tell me what label these print on? Size / Label # ??
    Thanks!!

  35. Also, will you send me the edit-abled label pdf? Thanks!!

  36. I made this scrub last night to give as teacher gifts today. My favorite part was cleaning up after making it. My hands felt so smooth! Thanks so much for a great recipe and labels!

  38. Hi Kyra,

I was also wondering you you could email me the “the” rather than the “my” labels you have created. I am looking to give this as a gifft to several nurses who have recently been caring for my father.

  50. Just finished making this for my kids’ teachers. Amazing!!! Thank you so much for the directions & printables =)

  51. i too was hoping to find directions for how to use the scrub…

  52. Cheri – to use the scrub simply apply a small amount to your hands and rub it in, then rinse. The sugar will exfoliate your skin and the coconut oil will leave your hands feeling oh so soft!
