It is Thursday and that means the weekend is so close. And it is October so we all know that means football games this weekend. Here is a great dip for those football parties. Or really any party or really just any day, its pretty good. My husband loves anything barbecue so when there is a chance to make a dip using barbecue sauce you know it is going to happen at my house.

Creamy BBQ Bacon Cheddar Dip

Ingredients:

3 slices bacon, crisply cooked, coarsely chopped

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/2  cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 medium green onions, sliced

Directions:

Set aside 2 tablespoons of the chopped bacon for garnish. In food processor or blender, combine cream cheese, barbecue sauce, Cheddar cheese and remaining bacon. Cover; process or blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined.

Garnish dip with green onions and reserved bacon. Serve with chips.
