Easiest Ever Appetizer

This is such a fun time of year – parties, get togethers, family, friends . . . . and usually that involves food.  Whether it’s having friends over or going to a gathering, you usually need an appetizer or something to share.  We’ve featured a couple of very popular ones such as Tortellini Skewers or Sparkling Cranberry Cups, but when you are in a hurry, nothing is as easy as Cream Cheese with Chipotle Sauce!  Only two ingredients – how easy is that!  You can see how pretty it is and I promise – It’s a favorite!  This will be one of the first to go {so no, you don’t have to feel like you’re cheating because you didn’t spend a lot of time!}  There is something about the mix of the fiery chipotle sauce cooled by the cream cheese that everyone loves!

Cream Cheese with Raspberry Chipotle Sauce

1 package cream cheese (4 or 8 ounces depending on the size of your gathering – wait get two, you’ll probably need it!)

1 bottle Raspberry Chipotle Sauce or try it with Mango Habanaro Sauce

Raspberries and Fresh Cilantro, optional for garnish

Directions:

Just place the amount of cream cheese you want on a pretty plate or glass dish and drizzle with Raspberry Chipotle Sauce.  Serve with crackers.

* You can find the Raspberry Chipotle Sauce at Costco in a large bottle or at most of your full-serve grocery stores.  Any sauce with a kick will work!

Cream Cheese Christmas Tree

Here’s a really fun way to serve this during Christmas that I saw on Pinterest – Isn’t this the fabulous?  I’ve already used it and it was a big hit!

Just cut an 8 ounce package of cream cheese diagonally and put the two pieces together to form the tree.  Add a green onion stalk between the halves for the trunk and cut a star.  I used a star fruit, but you could cut one out of a pepper also – so fun!
